When asked about some of the musical influences in his background, Ar-DuB responds saying that
“My musical capabilities are derived from my ability to explore various cultures and have a subjectivity about it.
I realize that my music can also project that I have a strong affinity for the part of the country that I was raised in.
I don't mind reflecting this... and I definitely don't mind reflecting the fact that I am a native of GA.
Though I am of nomadic nature... hehe..
Georgia is definitely more than a home-state to me.
It's a state that brings forth so much greatness.
Naturally and supernaturally ... I feel an added strength in these lands.. hehe .. so I indeed will rep. my state for many.

I enjoy that my inspirations are products of other media forms and entertainment outlets, so i am definitely one of those guys that is going to endorse those that support extracurricular involvement.
I have been inFLUenced by and for music since my early youth, and i encourage students to explore their creative sides as well.
An advocate i just might be... for music... for entertainment... for education... for growth.. mos' definitely.
Suppose i've said enough here. We've got space and time to get to it later.
